Il Dott. Pier Luca Bencini, ha conseguito la laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l’Università degli Studi di Milano, nel 1978.

Negli anni seguenti il Dott. Bencini si è specializzato in Dermatologia e Venereologia e Urologia.

Il Dott. Pier Luca Bencini è noto sul territorio nazionale per il suo grande impegno nella ricerca e nell'innovazione nel campo dermatologico.

Il Dott. Bencini è una figura di rilievo nel campo della Dermatologia e della Medicina Estetica.

Difatti è Direttore scientifico dell'Istituto di Chirurgia e Laser-Chirurgia in Dermatolgia (ICLID), ma non solo.

Il Dott. Bencini è Membro dell'Associazione Italiana Dermatologia Ambulatoriale, dell'American Academy of Dermatology e della European Laser Society of Dermatology.

È inoltre Membro della Società Italiana di Dermatologia Chirurgica ed Oncologica, Socio fondatore Società Italiana Laser in Dermatologia (SILD) ed è stato Vice Presidente Società Italiana Laser in Dermatologia.

Il Dott. Bencini è Socio fondatore e Vice Presidente della Società Italiana Radiofrequenza in Chirurgia Plastica, Estetica e Dermatologia, Socio fondatore e coordinatore dell'Italian High-Tech Network in DermatologicalSciences. Direttore scientifico della rivista HI-TechDermo.

È Fondatore e primo presidente fondatore di I.L.A.D. Italian Laser Academy of Dermatology.

Il Dott. Bencini è inoltre:
